Replacing a Safety Clip on the Spa Cover Strap
If the male portion of the safety clip needs replacing, here are some easy steps to get it done.
STEP 1: Use heavy duty wire cutters to cut an opening on the male side of
the safety clip. Use the same cutters to remove the old clip if necessary.
Be careful not to cut the vinyl strap!
STEP 2: The opening should be about 1/4" wide.
STEP 3: The 1/4" opening is just wide enough to get the strap on. Be
creative and fold the strap to get it to slide on. Be patient, it takes a
little practice to figure it out.
STEP 4: Success!
