Installing Your Filter Screen

1. This is what the bott om of your fi lter canister looks like.

 

2. Lay the fi lter screen over the tab as shown.

 

3. Snap the other side of the screen over the second tab. (Sometimes you need to push hard on top of the screen to get it to secure properly.)

 

4. Removing a fi lter screen can usually be done by pinching the screen on the 2 sides without tabs. This can spread the black tabs enough to allow the screen to be lift ed off .

 

If that does not work, place the head of a fl at head screwdriver between the outside of the white ear, (see above photo), and the inside of the black tab. By slowly twisting the screwdriver, you can separate the two pieces and lift the screen off .
